Celebrating One Year of Where Do I Belong in print.
Today is the first anniversary of my publishing my first book. I'm filled with gratitude, nostalgia, and an overwhelming sense of joy.
It feels like yesterday that I held my first printed copy of my book. I felt the weight of my dreams and aspirations come to life within its pages. From the initial spark of an idea to arduous hours spent crafting each sentence, this book has been a labour of love and hate, an intimate dance between the past and present.
What truly makes this journey unforgettable is the incredible community that has rallied around my work. I am endlessly grateful to every reader who has flipped through these pages, to every supporter who has championed my book, for every review placed on Amazon, and to every fellow writer who has shared their wisdom and encouragement.
Ninety percent of self-published books sell less than 100 copies. If you sell 250 you’re doing well, as that’s the average number sold. Thanks to my wonderful readers and supporters, Where Do I Belong has surpassed both those figures in its first year.
